Tranquil Power is an inner knowing that you are enough just as you are.
The Tranquil Power Women's Retreat is an experiential program designed for you to decompress, detach, and let go. This retreat is an inner journey of self-love and acceptance. The determining relationship with ourselves sets the tone for all other relationships. Expanding our love for ourselves pours out to our family and community. You see the Creator as loving and kind when you genuinely love yourself.
Elevating your importance through introspection improves every area of your life, Mentally, Physically, Work, Spiritually, and Socially. As you face your shadow and discharge old emotional baggage, you are free to create the life you love. Shame and trauma can overshadow every area of our lives. We suffer when we compartmentalize our lives by denying our emotions and feelings. As we release bitterness, grudges, and resentments, we become open to Love. By changing our minds, we really can change our lives.
You will experience a renewed sense of self-trust, freedom, confidence, vigor, and a fresh love for yourself and life.
The retreat is nestled in the Manistee National Forest, Hoxeyville, Michigan. A remote, quiet place to get away, unplug, relax, and let go. You are so worth it!

A few things to bring to the women’s retreat are:
Comfortable clothes, sweats, yoga pants, shorts, etc., are recommended. We will be stretching, dancing, yoga, and doing breathwork while you are lying down, so there is no need for any dress clothes. You may bring a sweater and a pair of slippers—pack light.
If you have a favorite creamer for your coffee or something special you like to drink, like sparkling water, juice, pop, etc., you may bring that. Bring your voice. I can't read your mind. I offer coffee, tea, water, and juice during the retreat. I get busy preparing all the food, and running the retreat, and may forget to offer you something when you happen to be thirsty, so speak up. You may also help yourself to things in the refrigerator.
Curiosity and an open mind, ready to experience all parts of you, the good and the shadow. A sense of expectancy that you will have a breakthrough with whatever area of your life that concerns you at this present time. Courage to try new things, and let go of insecurities, baggage, grudges, hurts, and fears.
The retreat is a Judgement Free Zone where you can be yourself without pretense or need for adornment. No makeup, curling iron, or hot rollers are needed as this is not a high fashion retreat. Of course, you may bring them if you can’t live without them.
This retreat is an inner exploration of your beauty and worth. You will go on a journey that will probably bring a few tears, sighs, and laughs. You will be celebrated for the magnificent person you already are.
If you have a joke or two and any magazines you want to bring for the vision board workshop, that would be fine. Also, find a fantastic photo of yourself looking radiant and happy to put on your vision board. You can bring several pictures of you smiling.
“Pam (My dear new friend)!!! Thanks for all you do and for all you are! From the moment I arrived and entered your home, I felt alive, welcomed, and a great connection. You’re my sister (white sister) LOL! Great cook. Warm and exceptional laughter. This retreat should be done at least once by every human (woman and men). It went beyond my expectations, rating it a 10 for the unique and life-changing skills I learned. From the warm hospitality to the versatile life experience, your great, positive mind has been very infectious. From the positive affirmations to the vision board, all these things will have an impact for life long!! Best of wishes and vibes for all your future endeavors!! May you sail through your ship of ambition and anchor at all those harbors of success.” Julie, Farmington Hills, MI
“I was in an awful state of mind before I got here. Meditation relaxed my mind; dancing was a plus, it was fun. Breathwork helped as I felt stressed. The vision board helped me learn to never give up on my dreams. I would rate this a ten because I got exactly what I came here for peace and a clear mind. It was a very comfy, nice bed, and I loved the bathtub. The food was yummy, very good. Pam is super warm-hearted.” Tanyia, Burton, MI
“I wanted peace, and I received a lot of peace. I would rate this retreat a 9. You have a lovely, welcoming home and retreat space. I loved how peaceful it is here. Loved seeing hummingbirds, woodpeckers, and the pretty wet-green of the woods. I enjoyed learning the new relaxing breathing techniques for anxiety, and the camaraderie between all of us, and how much I laughed. I liked the organic laugh exercise the most. I thought it’d give me anxiety but I laughed a lot. The breathwork and singing bowls were great because it gave me complete peace from my own mind. The beds, atmosphere, and shower were all great. A 10! I loved the variety of food and learning how good yellow tomatoes are! I had real sleep and actual nutrition for a change. I feel I have more tools to calm myself down. I really enjoyed the connection I made with Pam and T. They are both kind and genuine people and helped my social anxiety issues fade as the weekend progressed. I had a great time.” Erin, Adrian, MI
“The only reason I would rate this a nine instead of a 10 is because I had no other guests present to synergize with since, unfortunately, the other women had to cancel at the last minute, along with me getting sick with a sinus infection right before I came. The accommodations were a 10, very “homey,” and the food was excellent. The guided meditations were very peaceful. I achieved a higher enlightenment state of awareness for the first time in my life. I developed an ability to be raw/vulnerable to a “stranger” new person and put myself out there. I learned physical tactics/ tapping to help with fears and phobias.” Molly, Clarkston, MI
“Thank you for blessing me with a wonderful experience. I would rate this retreat a 10! Pam, you are joyful, and I felt that every day. I hope to embrace that in me. You gave me a safe place to be me and taught me how to be more and realize I’m beautiful and good enough as I am. I liked the meditations and breathwork. I needed to learn how to breathe and quiet my mind. The stay was very comfortable. The food was beyond expectations, 10! It was all wonderful. I loved the dancing and the singing bowls; those are amazing. The tools you showed me will be put to good use.” Margaret, Davison MI
“Thank you so much for an amazing retreat and a beautiful weekend. I will definitely be using the tools you taught us! I really enjoyed the dance and vision board much more than I expected. I thought the vision board was going to be lame. It’s Not! I liked the daily yoga. This is what I needed to get me on a daily practice at home because I know how good I feel after doing yoga. The place was very nice! Clean space! I was very comfortable. The food was a 10, Amazing! I know I’m going to make yoga a priority in my life, and I realize in all my situations, my feelings and thoughts matter. “Use My Voice” Kindly. I would rate this retreat a 10!” Vauni, Flint, MI
“Pam, you are phenomenal! Thank you so much for making things fit to me and my issues. I felt as comfortable as being in my own home. The breathwork was most important and helpful to me, even though I was the most fearful of it. I liked the yoga poses and stretches. The retreat was full of a lot of letting go of my fears and anxieties. You are so caring and giving. That made it all the easier to do. Hearing about all the obstacles in life that you have overcame and showing me ways to overcome mine gives me hope that I can have the peaceful, full-filling retirement I dream of and want so badly. Your faith, strength, and will power is astounding. I hope we will always be in touch with each other this day forward and be able to embrace in each of our accomplishments achieved because of this weekend. God bless you always!!” Scarlet, Toledo, OH
“This retreat was more than I could have hoped for. You have a gift for connection. Thank you so much! I learned a lot this weekend and would rate the retreat a 10! I learned how to let things go that have been bothering me for years. I learned new breathing techniques. I learned how to use tapping as a tool. I liked the breathwork activities. The meals were amazing and the stay was very comfortable.” Dawn, Newberry, MI
“Pam’s work is transformative! Just being in her presence with her ideas, activities, stories, and her infectious laughter has inspired me in more ways than I can express. Every activity was well thought out and inserted at just the right point in time for what I needed. I would 100% recommend this retreat to anyone who feels out of sorts or like their world is chaotic. Pam will help you feel like the absolute best version of yourself! I would rate this retreat a 10. Pam covered so many areas and was not only able to clear out some trauma, but fill me up with positivity and hope. She is transformational and inspiring. The things I liked the most were the sound bath therapy – important for clearing things out and the seed to life journey exercise was important for growth and renewal. Pam went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary restrictions. I feel unstuck and re-energized. I feel ready for new possibilities. With love, gratitude and blessings, I thank you. Keep dreaming and call me to come and work with you once your retreat center comes to fruition.” Nicole, Franklin, WI
“The thing I liked the most was the company of the other retreat attendees and the ambience that Pam provided. The food was a 10! I learned that breathwork is very important to reducing stress and anxiety. The vision board work that we did was so fun and helpful. I wish that I could have cut out more images and other items to put on my vison board. I felt like there was so much to learn and not enough time. Maybe extend the retreat another day so we could get all of our learning in.” Myrna, Chicago, IL
“My stay here was very comfortable. I didn’t know what to expect, but am satisfied with what we experienced. Sometimes I felt we were just skimming the surface of things. The breathwork with the singing bowls was the most important for me. It provided the meditations that drew me to the retreat description. The food was delicious with loads of choices. As a result of this retreat, I was really exploring and accepting the fact that although I have a good life now, I was blocked, and it could be better. I feel myself unblocking. I will ask for what I want now! Plus, I might get a kitty. 😊” Kristin, Ann Arbor, MI
“I had a great time. I really enjoyed you and the new friendships created. I didn’t know what to expect but it was above and beyond my expectations. Thank you so much for all your hard work. You too are very appreciated. I loved the interactions, inner work, and the idea of looking to the future and creating a new vision. I benefited from the meditation. It gave me more peace. The stay was very comfortable!” Liz, Lafayette, IN
“Pam is delightful. Her laugh is infectious. Loved the many options she taught us to take care of ourselves. Very welcoming place. Thank you for being so generous of and in the giving of yourself to help others. You had the tone of such a peaceful and accepting place. Your food was delicious and healthy. Our group got along so well, but Pam made that happen, she set the tone. It is a beautiful location. The stay was very comfortable with plenty of bathrooms. The most important were the sound bowls, tuning forks, and meditations for me. I am grateful for thinking ahead about what could be in my future. I had a great time. I am going home a stronger and healthier woman!” Amy, Lafayette, IN
“It was a great experience. I had wonderful bonding moments and great personal recharging. Thank you for a fun time. I liked the laughing, the dancing, and the meditation sessions. Laughing is important. I struggle with this because I am so serious. The stay was great, the food, beds, bath, and environment were 100% comfortable. The retreat gave me confirmation that I can share my uniqueness.” Cally, Big Rapids, MI

I actually really liked the vision board. It was extremely important and put into perspective the awesome things that I need to appreciate in my life. I didn’t think I would get into it as much as I did. The stay was very comfortable, thank you. The food was a 10. I am a picky eater and everything tasted very good. "You are worth it to treat yourself to Tranquil Power retreat- Worth every penny!
I was dealing with a lot of grief, sadness, and worries. I felt I needed to work through various emotions and needed an outlet to work through them. I loved that it was a small group of women, max 4 women and I didn't know any of them so it was easy to open up and share what I was going through. Pam is a Life coach, and a massage therapist and has experienced many things in life. She is a very spiritual woman and offers various methods of meditation and calming techniques. She incorporates dance, tuning forks, and Tibetan sound bowls.
I came in as a lost soul with heavy burdens, I left feeling confident, had tools to take with me to work through stress, I left feeling grounded, uplifted and happy. That was an accomplishment in itself. It was worth every penny, Pam really knows her stuff!
If you are sitting on the fence, take the leap and attend the Tranquil Power retreat. If you have built up anger, sadness, anxiety, etc. you will leave feeling like you have the power to take back control of your life. You will have delicious meals that Pam cooks for you, you will be asked some hard questions to really look into how you are feeling and where you want to see yourself.
The activities are good, including journalling, creating a vision board, learning meditations, and in the end finding yourself. Pam's prices are very reasonable in comparison to others, the beds are comfortable, it is in a home in the woods in the serene surrounding of nature and you will bond with the ladies and possibly make friends for life. Most importantly you will feel better about yourself by the end of the retreat! I highly recommend this retreat!" Christina, Hamilton, Canada
“The stay was very comfortable, great bed, and food. I enjoyed the focus of positivity and action and seeing in Pam a real-life example of how these practices can change your life. Thanks, Pam for a great weekend. You are truly an inspiration with all you’ve done and accomplished.” Molly, Bloomington, IN

“I learned so much from this experience. Learned that I need to open myself and push myself to accomplish my goals. Don’t let myself disrupt my goals with my fears and anxiety. Thank you for that. The thing I liked the most was the vision board. It showed me that I now have to be held accountable for my goals. We were fed well, with so much food of different choices. A benefit I gained was accountability. The biggest thing is letting go of the things I can’t change.” Spring, Toledo OH

This was my first retreat and probably the only retreat I ever needed. Thank you for opening your home, cooking amazing meals, and getting me grounded. It was a transformational experience which I'll never forget. Thank you!" CN, ON, CA

I learned to meditate, how to properly do deep breathing exercises and most importantly TAPPING! This retreat has changed my life in the most beautiful way! Thank you, Pam, for being so kind and opening up this wonderful experience to us ladies. I’m Beautiful Dammit! I feel recharged and more confident. I love the EFT, breathwork, and tuning forks! You can feel it to your toes, and it seeps into your soul! I loved the tapping. I will take it for future use for myself and teach my patients to help with anxiety in a mental health facility. The stay was very comfortable. I feel more powerful and confident as a woman where everything is possible. You thought of little things like extra hats and gloves, just little things that I did not think of, but you already had it. Thank you for being so prepared. The meditations were very soothing. We had laughter therapy which was fun. I liked dancing blindfolded the best so you can be free and not feel judged. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!” Heidi, Rochester, In

“I was really nervous about vision boards as I didn’t feel I had a vision. But it felt comforting to see my vision become clear. The retreat felt very calming and freeing to open up and connect with ourselves. I really enjoyed how much we all laughed together all weekend. It was very important that I laughed more than cried. I slept well. Pam is very hospitable. I am a fairly picky eater and I enjoyed everything and liked that there were so many choices. Now I feel like I am allowed to be happy. Thank you for a fantastic and eye-opening weekend. I feel so much stronger and in touch with myself and the life I want to live. Much of it thanks to this weekend. XOXO” Lisa, Southfield, MI
"This retreat is above and beyond what I had expected in so many ways. The name is perfect - It brought tranquility and peace to the unsettled places in my heart. It gave me power where I was discouraged and feeling powerless. I had numerous breakthroughs and especially benefit from all of the experiential sessions. The breathwork, the EFT, The Vision Board, the conversation - they all worked together to enable me to let go of things (even those I didn't know I needed to) and to embrace peace, and to be ready to embark on my next adventure.
Pam is top-notch. She has thought of everything someone would need to feel comfortable, safe, and well taken care of. Thank you, Pam! You've truly transformed my life. God met me here, changed me, and I am forever grateful!"
Lynn H - Bay City, MI
"EFT was good because you experience real-time healing with something so simple. Dancing awakened my need to reconnect with my body. It was great to spend time with other women who have also been through a lot - and grow together. Great food, spacious bathroom, comfy beds, and even a surprise weighted blanket! I gained calmness, self-confidence, and awareness about needing to reconnect with my body. I am less anxious and feel more powerful. Pam, thank you for being such a kind and generous host. You provided a space for me to learn about myself. I am hopeful again and excited for my future. This retreat was perfect for me."
Brianna, Grosse Il, MI
"Loved the vision boards. So fun! I loved the meditation. I had not done that before but now love it. I liked the blindfolded dance. I felt comfortable with all the ladies. I feel more self-assured and empowered, and feel like I can go into my "Real" world and change things. This place is amazing. I have laughed more than I have in a long time. I've relaxed in a way that has been missing in my life for a long time. Thank you, Pam, for such a great getaway."
Kayla, Big Lake MN
"What a weekend! Where to begin - new ways with breathwork, meditation, singing bowls, using affirmations - that's the tip of the iceberg. Even better than my new skills and practices to keep myself healthy and balanced, the new friendships! It's so meaningful to me that Pam set up the retreat and also is just the type of person - that we all felt safe to be ourselves. So I got to know 3 really wonderful people quite well in only 3 days! Love my new friends! I received new calming breath exercises. There is a great deal to reflect upon in terms of how I see and feel about myself to access my clarity. I came wanting not only an experience that would help me change up some things in my life, but I also wanted what I learned to be based on data."
Sandy, Grand Rapids, MI
"What a gift! Thank you for assembling and hosting this wonderful retreat. I laughed, I cried, I danced, I walked, I created art, I walked, and I made new friends. Thank you! I have never had home-cooked meals - one after another made for me. I tried new food. The zucchini brownies were yummy! I had a breakthrough to get back to me and my voice. A return to my core beliefs that had gotten blurry. Hope and a toolkit I'll take with me. I enjoyed the retreat space in the basement because everything had a purpose and was available during downtime for us to play with. I am leaving with a clearer vision." Jodie - Columbus OH
"Pam's Paradise has recharged a tired soul. The "magical meals" prepared with love were amazing. I highly recommend turning older here for your next birthday!! I feel ready and excited to conquer 58. I slept like a baby. Every need was anticipated. I am recharged and ready to tackle life." Laura - Euless, TX
"This retreat was a time for cleansing and a "reset." I was able to release negative self-criticism and develop greater acceptance. I did not realize it, but I also had some grief that needed to be addressed. I was able to "sit with the grief" during the breathwork and the prompts to let go of negative things. The food was over the top! I feel rested and recharged! I am also blessed to have my new "sister!" Thank you, Thank you! Sincerely," Christine - Davision, MI
"Thank you so much for all the care and consideration you have put into everything. It's been a beautiful weekend in a beautiful space. Everything was presented as described and led to a greater awareness of who I am. The breathwork was most important, but all the activities were beneficial. The stay was very comfortable, and all the food was very good." Rhoda - Gobles, MI

"A Time for Renewal. Before the retreat, Pam sent an email with a questionnaire to prepare for the Vision Board. This gave me a good feeling about the retreat, as I had to think about things that were important to me. I left work early to head up to the retreat house. It was a beautiful day and the drive was a nice time of solitude for me. I work in the mental health field and encounter troubled souls all day, so getting some time to think is a good thing. I arrived at the retreat house, which is nestled in the Manistee National Forest. I immediately felt peace and calm there. Pam was a gracious hostess, showing me to my room and giving me a tour of the house. After some time, the other guests arrived. The retreat allows for four ladies, and we all hit it off well. After everyone got settled in, Pam provided a tasty and healthy dinner. Treats and snacks were also available during the weekend. On the Friday evening session, we were led in an exercise to help us to release any negative thoughts and develop healthy self-esteem. We were encouraged to release old patterns of self-doubt and express forgiveness of self and others. This was a time of empowerment. Tapping, deep breathing, and other modalities were utilized during this time. I was deeply moved by my own response to these exercises and felt very "nurtured." Pam allowed us to express ourselves freely. On Saturday we worked on our Vision Boards. Creativity flowed freely as we assembled our future plans and dreams. Later we participated in free movement to music, dancing, and laughing. I appreciated a richness in the joy of friendship with these women, who soon became friends. We shared our hopes and our tears. We talked about a hopeful future while promoting positive ideas.
I would like to say something about Pam as our hostess. Each of the meals were absolutely delicious and made with vegetables from her garden, with healthy eating as a foundation. She considered allergies and any personal preferences throughout the weekend. The conversations at the table were encouraging. Pam maintained a Godly sanctuary of blessing and peace.
This was a good time for me to release some deep grief that I was carrying. Working on the Vision Board allowed me to think about my values and make some new goals for my life.
I highly endorse this retreat for any lady who needs some fresh air and a new perspective.
All in all, I could not have asked for a better retreat if I tried!"

"I hoped for a breakthrough or two, but I had so many I can't count them all, but I journaled them! Also, the accommodations, food, company - all of it was beyond what I've experienced at a retreat or anything like this before. The EFT, The Tuning Forks, The Breathwork, The talks, The Vision Board, Pam's Book, I loved it!! The experiential sessions helped me to break through to new ground. Thank you so much! Very comfortable stay. I can get anxious, especially with new places and new overnight surroundings. Super comfortable. Thank you for your acceptance and non-judgmental way. " LH
